Today I will share few very helpful tips for your on-line shopping.



  • How to avoid scams during your online shopping.

**Shopping from EU countries:**
If you are living in a country part of the EU there are minor issues when you are shopping from foreign countries. Almost all of the big retailers fulfill orders to EU countries.

**Shopping from the USA:**

The real fun starts here! If you are living in Western Europe&Central Europe most probably shopping from the USA will not be an issue. Biggest retailers either have local stores in your country or they can fulfill direct orders.

When we speak for Eastern Europe shopping from the USA is a big challenge. I will use my own country as an example (Bulgaria). Only 30% of the on-line retailers in the USA delivered to Bulgaria. If you somehow find a retailer to sell and deliver the desired product, you will need to pay local import Tax + 20% VAT. Also, there are some products and brands that are not allowed to be imported.

**How to shop from the USA- Tips, and Tricks:**

Local Connections -If you have some relatives in the USA - this is a good way to shop from USA. If you have some close connection in USA, they can really help with the shipping process. You will still need to pay import Taxes and VAT, but you can compensate this with lower prices or discounts.

Delivery Broker - In most of the Eastern European countries there are companies which are offering paid delivery from USA. The good news here is that you will pay only the shipping fees because they will ship your product to EU country first (UK/DE) and from there it will be delivered to your courtly. These companies are working with local P.Os, they have their own delivery address from where they can pick up your product. From my country, this is the recommended method.

If you are living in Bulgaria or in some of the local countries to Bulgaria, you can check some of the best Delivery Brokers.Most of their websites support English language.
